Cargill Sustainable Agriculture Processing- optimizing resource use and management using AVEVA PI System
Follow the journey from one-off calculations into templates for energy models while imbedding results into workflows and asset-based solutions. Cargill has energy reduction targets in place for its operations facilities, and one business is paving the way using AVEVA PI System . Production or process optimization engineers create models for expected energy usage in a facility or area. Then this data is used to empower everyone from front-line operators to regional management to understand the energy goals and opportunities of a given process. Entire teams of users are then empowered to make real-time changes to optimize area or asset energy usage or document improvement opportunities for the assets, processes and teams.
