Ernst spent 7 years specialising in Automation Engineering at Lethabo Power Station in South Africa, followed by 14 years as Software Portfolio Manager at IS3 (previously known as Wonderware Southern Africa) before moving to California in 2018 to take up his current role as Product Manager for AVEVA System Platform and the AVEVA Operations Management Interface (OMI).

Elliott Middleton
Elliott Middleton has over 35 years of experience with industrial software, primarily with process historians, business system integration and operations intelligence applications. As a product manager, he is responsible for setting the direction for the AVEVA information solutions, including the AVEVA Historian. He also started AVEVA s first SaaS offer, AVEVA Insight. Working with customers, business partners, and the AVEVA development and support teams, Elliott works to identify market problems, define product requirements and prioritize enhancements. Prior to joining AVEVA (then Wonderware) in 2001, he held similar positions at AspenTech and IndX. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Baylor University.
