RockTenn purchased an Enterprise Agreement with OSIsoft in 2006. With the added benefits of being in an Enterprise Agreement (EA), RockTenn faces the challenge of ensuring the many valuable developments using the PI System are shared and reused across the enterprise. One way RockTenn has accomplished this is by creating a PI System Power User group, made up of one PI System user from each mill. In addition to periodic conference calls, the team members, team management and OSIsoft EA team meet at a site of choice where the PI System users get to show their creative use of the product. At the most recent group meeting, PI System users were challenged with presenting different applications of "How Does the PI System Rock at RockTenn." Eleven entries were submitted, presented and judged for value, ease to deploy and leverage (how applicable it is to other mills). This talk will show examples of those eleven entries, and you'll surely be impressed with how these PI System users have made the PI System Rock at RockTenn.
