Stephen Edwards
Steve is "all in" when it comes to operations and plant automation. You'll often find him inside plants with up rolled sleeves working side by side with the customer. He has a wide range of experience in industrial automation within O&G, Food, & Chemicals industries.
He worked for many years at one of the largest engineering firms in the USA designing and commissioning chemical plants and hot mix asphalt plants. There, he found his passion in automation logic and controls. He has written control logic in many platforms and specializes in sequential automation.
Steve later joined one of his chemicals industry customers where he added skills in operations and reliability, which were terrific complements to his engineering design background. During this time, he became an avid PI user which became an important part of his approach to problem solving.
In 2016, OSIsoft hired Steve as a technical advisor to lead customers to maximize the value from their PI investment. Steve launched the PI System Monitoring program which empowers customers to improve the health of their PI systems. After this, Steve launched the PI Digital Twin (PIDT) initiative to solve scalability problems faced by many PI customers.
In 2023, Steve transitioned to his current role as a Global PI Solutions Architect where he designs AVEVA standards for building PI systems.
Steve is a mechanical engineer and is an active and contributing member of the International Society of Automation (ISA). He is based in the Johnson City, TN, USA office and he is married to Tracey Michelle and they have three sons: Stephen, Thomas and Christian.

Kendell Jillson
Kendell started with OSIsoft, now part of AVEVA, in 2008 in customer support before joining the Success Services team and working as a Systems Engineer. He holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from University of Massachusetts Amherst, and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
