PRESENTATION
2012 - Sustainability Users Group Meeting
Using Building Utility Data to Meet Sustainability Goals for Diverse Customer
Building-level utility meters—only visible to facility managers once a month, or on bills—can be made much more useful when the data is trended and monitored on a well-designed building energy dashboard. Using PI ProcessBook and/or PI WebParts, the data can be visualized in ways that are extremely useful to facility managers, utilities energy managers and sustainability staff or commissioning agents. Using visual benchmarking and trending averages for comparison, building performance can be monitored much more effectively and a platform is provided that drives actions in sustainability efforts.
