Mtell Partners with OSIsoft to Enable Asset Prescriptive Maintenance
New partnership integrates Mtell’s Machine Learning Technology with the OSIsoft’s PI System to Optimize Asset Health for Industrial Enterprises
SAN DIEGO (OCTOBER 29, 2015) - Mtell, a leading asset health software solution company and provider of machine learning technology for the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), today announced it has partnered with OSIsoft, a global leader enabling operational intelligence. The combined OSIsoft PI System and Mtell Previse solution leverages sensor-based data captured within the PI System to deliver prescriptive maintenance insights for production and manufacturing industries.
OSIsoft's PI System collects and stores real-time data and events from multiple and distributed sensor signals of disparate manufacturing processes, equipment, and control and automation software. Mtell Previse sits on top of the PI System to access and process its stored data using machine learning technology. The combined solution provides early warnings of imminent equipment degradation and failure, and directs prescriptive action to adjust operations and maintenance activities to avoid breakdown issues. The results include higher equipment uptime, lower maintenance costs, and reduced environmental risk.
