The ability to display real time data at BP's Houston offices is an important new feature of the Troika production control system. The data, which include downhole pressure, temperature, flow, and water cut, are key to making production and operations decisions regarding well control. In addition, the data enable the reservoir engineers to calibrate the reservoir model and to manage the reservoir model. OSI's PI-ProcessBook was identified as being an integral part in this process. In particular, the remote terminal at BP Plaza was illustrated with screen shots of PI-ProcessBook displaying well head pressure and temperature, annular pressure, and down hole flow over a seven day period to a room of approximately 100 people. PI-ProcessBook was also used to take pressure data and match it with the reservoir model.
